Weeks prior to this evening my band and I, rattling for Live had entered a request to test for the Midlothian Battle of the Bands rivalry. The give director never gave us a shot, saying This was a competition for the premier underground bands of Virginia. I shrugged it out as a his loss type situation and put it all in all out of mind. The day before the competition I got a call from Mr. Fry, the coordinator of the event saying that in that location was an opening in the battle but we would have to play along in and audition the day of the competition for the spot against other group.
